Childcare for Church Activities
Many thanks to the Childcare Task Force, which has planned extended childcare for church activities to better serve the needs of all ages. Special thanks to Lynda Johnson for agreeing to serve as childcare coordinator.
Expanded Hours are detailed below. Remember that our Woo Hoo Wednesday family time begins at 6 p.m. on 1st Wednesdays, so come early and join us in the Volker Room downstairs for pizza and an activity. Every other Wednesday of the month, childcare will be available from 6:30-8:30 in the toddler room downstairs.
Please remind your children that once you have signed them in, they must remain in the supervised area until you pick them up. These important steps will help us do everything possible to provide for the safety and security of our children.
In order to help this expanded childcare process run smoothly: Please use the new childcare signin sheet to indicate what committee meeting or activity you are attending during the childcare time. This information will help us work toward increasing childcare availability in the future. Please make sure you have filled out 2006-2007 Religious Education Registration Form which gives emergency contact information and important health care information, such as allergies.

Childcare Is Now Available
Sundays
9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. in the toddler room downstairs
First Sundays:
9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.(Children will be expected to eat with their families but then may go downstairs or, weather permitting, to the playground, where they will be supervised by our childcare providers and additional volunteers.
All other Sundays :
9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. during committee meetings
Wednesdays
First Wednesday:
7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m, after Woo Hoo Wednesday in the nursery room upstairs
Fourth Wednesday:
6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.in the toddler room downstairs
(Starting in January 2008 we will not offer childcare on 2nd and 3rd Wednesdays except by special arrangement. )
