Flower Committee
The flower committee arranges flowers for Sunday worship services and also beautifies the santuary with seasonal flowers and greenery for holidays such as Christmas. We can provide flowers for memorial services and other special events, including wedding flowers.
Committee meetings are scheduled as needed. We welcome new members and are happy to teach volunteers who would like to participate but are unsure of their skills. We also appreciate donations of flowers, greenery and help with cleanup.
This year the committee is led by two co-chairs, both reached at chair.flower
. Debra is handling Sunday flowers and weddings; Gerda is the primary contact for memorial services, seasonal decorations and house plants.
Dedicate the Sunday Flowers to a special person or event
Donating the Sunday podium flowers is a wonderful way to honor or remember a special person or to celebrate an event such as a birthday or anniversary. Your gift will be noted in the order of service. You may provide them yourself but our suggestion is to let us obtain and arrange them for you. Our price will include a reasonable arranging fee that is a fund-raiser.

Flowers for Weddings and Other Special Services
The flower committee raises funds by arranging flowers for simple weddings, memorial services and other events. Contact co-chairs Gerda Carmichael or Debra Burrell (both at chair.flower) or another member of the flower committee for details. Here are a few of the flowers we did for
a recent wedding.

Our usual Sunday schedule is:
1st Sunday: Linda Barnes (odd-numbered months, January, etc.)
& position open for even-numbered months, February, etc.
2nd Sunday: Debra Burrell
3rd Sunday: Gerda Carmichael
4th Sunday: Judy Deegan (odd-numbered months, January, etc.)
& Marcia Clifton (even-numbered months, February, etc.)
5th Sunday: Cecelia Latham
